The adventure begins when the headmistress of Monster High, Goodblood, decides to bring together vampires and werewolves at the school. However, she doesn’t anticipate the evil intentions of Administrator Hellscream, who, with the help of Miss Crabgrass, usurps Goodblood’s position and turns her into stone. They orchestrate a plan to divide the new students and the existing ones, sowing discord between vampires and werewolves. Initially, tensions are diffused as Frankie and Abby organize a welcoming dance, helping students set aside their differences—until the underlying conspiracy resurfaces.
Hellscream and Miss Crabgrass intensify the conflict, manipulating both sides into open rivalry. Meanwhile, Draculaura and Clawd’s relationship is strained, and Howleen, Clawd’s sister, becomes the leader of the wolf pack, exacerbating the division. Frankie, suspicious of the brewing conflict, discovers that Goodblood was turned to stone and retrieves a potion to revive her. Together with Goodblood, Howleen, Draculaura, and Abby, they confront the villains and break free from their trap in the catacombs.
With determination and the help of Operetta, the friends convince the feuding students that everyone at Monster High is unique and should unite rather than divide. Their teamwork triumphs as Hellscream and Miss Crabgrass are defeated and turned into stone as a reminder of their betrayal.
